About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa working with Daniel Erman. I recently earned a PhD in mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I was advised by Eloísa Grifo. Broadly speaking, I am interested in commutative and homological algebra and their interactions with algebraic geometry.

I am originally from the Los Angeles area and did my undergraduate studies at UCLA. Afterwards I completed two years of my PhD program at UC Riverside before transferring to Nebraska. I have a wide range of interests outside of math but some of the things I've enjoyed as of late are running, playing soccer, exploring the outdoors, and trying new foods and drinks.
